Około 1871-1910 rękopis był w zbiorach Joanny Lilpop w Warszawie, następnie w posiadaniu jej syna Karola. Zakupiony w 1963 roku od Artura Hedleya z Londynu. Od 2005 roku depozyt Towarzystwa im. Fryderyka Chopina w Narodowym Instytucie Fryderyka Chopina.
